Bunker Par 2
Why this drill
Sand practice usually ends at "out." This game holes out: nine bunker shots, each played with the putter to a finish, each a par 2. The score tells you what sand actually costs your card — and watching it fall is watching fear leave.
Setup
Practice bunker with a green and hole, one ball, sand wedge and putter, rake. Nine different spots in the sand: upslope, downslope, near lip, long across the green, one fried egg.
The drill
Play each station like a hole — splash out, putt until holed, everything counted, no gimmes. Par 2 each, par 18 total. Rake between stations; the next lie is always fair. Twenty-two or under is short-game money at club level; a sand-save one-putt somewhere in the nine is the day's trophy. Card it, keep it, and replay the same nine next month.
