Feet Together
Why this drill
Swinging with your feet touching makes over-swinging and lunging physically impossible — you fall over instead. It rebuilds balance, tempo, and centered contact in one drill, and it is the quickest reset when the full swing turns violent mid-session.
Setup
A mid or short iron and ten balls. Feet touching — actually touching, not merely narrow.
The drill
Hit ten balls with feet together at three-quarter length and easy speed. Expect the first three to be ugly; the ball does not care about your dignity. Hold every finish for a count of three — if you stumble, the swing was too hard, whatever it felt like. When you can flush five in a row and hold the finish, hit five with your normal stance keeping the same centered, unhurried feeling. Most players find the feet-together balls fly nearly as far as their normal ones; sit with that lesson.

Finish in balance and hold it — the ball only rewards swings you could hold for a photograph.
