Scoring-Clubs Par 3s
Why this drill
Most sim rounds are driver shows. Playing a virtual par-3 course with nothing longer than an 8-iron turns the same screen into a scoring-clubs examination — the shots that actually decide your handicap, under card-and-pencil pressure.
Setup
Any simulator course's par 3s (or a dedicated par-3 layout), clubs capped at the 8-iron. Nine holes, one ball per shot.
The drill
Play the nine par 3s with full routine, applying the honest two-putt rule (three putts from outside ten yards of the pin, one putt inside three). Par 27; card your number. The cap means every tee shot is a scoring club at a defined flag — precisely the shots your leak tracker keeps flagging — and the sim's distances tell you instantly whether your carry chart or your commitment is the liar. Under 31 at a mid handicap is a strong night.

Pick the number, pick the club, hit the number — par 3s are arithmetic with nerves.
