The Thirty-Second Swing
Why this drill
A full swing stretched to thirty seconds hides nothing: every lurch, every shortcut, every position you've never actually visited shows up when momentum can't carry you past it. The hardest easy drill in golf, and it needs no ball, net, or daylight.
Setup
A mid iron (or any club) and ceiling room. A clock or phone timer where you can see it.
The drill
Make one complete swing — takeaway to full finish — in thirty continuous seconds. No stops, no rewinds: constant, glacial motion. Feel where balance strains; those are the positions your real swing rushes through. Three thirty-second swings, resting between. Then three at ten seconds, then three at real speed, letting the sequence you just toured happen on its own. Legs will burn; that's the drill doubling as golf fitness.

If you can't do it slowly, you can't do it — speed was hiding the gap.
